Lawn Care and Mowing Business

Probably every man or woman who is unemployed or otherwise has thought of this one.
All you need is a good lawnmower and perhaps a wheelbarrow for collecting the cuttings. Hopefully, in your years of employment you bought these for yourself and so, NO CAPTIAL EXPENSE is required.

On the other hand however, your client may have this equipment and, for many reasons such as ‘old age’ or illness etc. may require you just to operate this equipment.

There is little for me to say about lawn mowing other than how to set up this business and get the orders and how to keep your new customers. This is very comprehensive info and should help you get it all going.

Firstly, how to keep them as regular customers:

Simply put: DO A GOOD JOB, leave the site TIDY and CLEAN and during the whole course of your operation – you are polite and accept criticism such as … “… don’t you think that small portion over there hasn’t been done properly..”, - accept such a remark graciously and do that piece again without any argument…. You will have retained a customer to do that lawn again in 2 weeks time AND retained a client for your winter activities….
